چکیده

Multi-load Automated Guided Vehicle's (AGV) are regarded as a potential tool to tackle the low-efficiency issue that have plagued traditional single-load AGV systems for many years. However, date, optimal design and operation of multi-load is still an unresolved question. In order explore answer this question help operators make decisions during these systems, article will use Coloured Petri nets (CPN) develop mathematical model investigate performance (i.e., total number items delivered within given time) system in various scenarios. The research has shown failure AGVs can significantly lower system. Although it possible maintain high by performing onsite corrective maintenance, shows be achieved using combination periodic maintenance backup use. Finally, found increasing increase performance, but decrease efficiency average per AGV) individual due increased traffic conflicts hence longer waiting times.

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

AGV (automated guided vehicle) robot: Mission and obstacles in design and performance

The AGV (automated guided vehicle) was introduced in UK in 1953 for transporting. But nowadays, due to their high efficiency, flexibility, reliability, safety and system scalability, they are used in various application in industries. In brief, the AGV robot is a system which typically made up of vehicle chassis, embedded controller, motors, drivers, navigation and collision avoidance sensors, ...

The multi-objective decision making methods based on MULTIMOORA and MOOSRA for the laptop selection problem

A decision making process requires the values of conflicting objectives for alternatives and the selection of the best alternative according to the needs of decision makers. Multi-objective optimization methods may provide solution for this selection. In this paper it is aimed to present the laptop selection problem based on MOORA plus full multiplicative form (MULTIMOORA) and multi-objective o...

Evaluation of recommender systems: A multi-criteria decision making approach

The evaluation and selection of recommender systems is a difficult decision making process. This difficulty is partially due to the large diversity of published evaluation criteria in addition to lack of standardized methods of evaluation. As such, a systematic methodology is needed that explicitly considers multiple, possibly conflicting metrics and assists decision makers to evaluate and find...
